We delight in 248 acres of lakes, hills and forest
Our beautiful 248-acre camp is bordered on three sides by the wooded hills of Clarence Fahnestock State Park in the Hudson Valley, one hour north of New York City and six miles from the town of Cold Spring, NY.
We have bunks and housing to accommodate 360 people, a pool, an eight-acre lake and stream, sports fields and courts, theater, dining hall, a farm and gardens, indoor and outdoor activity spaces, hiking trails, woods, fields, electricity, water and plumbing, and plenty of space to play. The famous Appalachian Trail runs just next to camp and is the path for many of our hiking and camping trips.
The UJA-Federation of New York has committed $1.5 million to our building and renovation projects over the next three years. All construction at Eden Village is designed to set an example for high standards of green building.
Most campers will reside in traditional bunks; the oldest campers may reside in teepees or yurts. Larger cottages accommodate non-live-in faculty, while guests can stay in additional bunks or nearby bed and breakfasts.
