Eden Village Camp (EVC) is a new Jewish environmental overnight summer camp opening Summer 2010 an hour north of NYC. This co-ed, pluralistic, non-profit camp for eight-to-15 year-olds offers both traditional and innovative programming focusing on environmental and social sustainability. At EVC, campers co-create a vibrant, inspired Jewish community and explore passions for organic farming, yummy healthy food, natural building technologies, the arts, sports, service-learning projects and much more... and have a blast along the way!

Beresheit Summer
Come work, learn and play! July 12th through Sept 7, 2009
The theme of this summer is Beresheit, which is the Hebrew word for creation. Earlier this year we received a major grant to start an earth-based Jewish summer camp grounded in environmental and social sustainability and spirituality. The UJA-Federation of NY has graciously invited us to use an empty summer camp one hour north of New York City, and plan to open the doors to campers in the summer of 2010.
This summer we will host a seed work camp where families and individuals are invited to bring their working hands and innovative minds together to help build this dream. No prior work experience is needed. Come learn new skills as you work for a day, a weekend, a week, a month or two! Visit our website if you are interested in learning more.

Silent Auction
Eden Village Camp will provide educational and meaningful experiences to kids who will truly be blessed by these experiences. Some of these kids are unable to afford the tuition for the summer so we are starting a scholarship fund to help!
In order to actualize this dream we are seeking donations for a silent auction that will take place at Eden Village's Beresheit Festival on July 12, 2009 to kick off the season. If you or your company can offer a donation of a service or goods please let us know by July 6 so that we can include your generour offer in this very important fundraising event.
