Come see the Land
On this kid-friendly day, you can take a tour of the beautiful land.
Our 250-acre campus features pristine wilderness adjacent to the Clarence Fahnestock State Park and the Appalachian Trail. Breathe deep as we take gentle walks on and off the beaten path. Hear from some old-timers the rich history of this land, and dream what this camp could become for future generations!
We will be asking for $25-60 tax-deductible donations that will go towards our scholarship fund. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Silent Auction
Eden Village Camp will provide educational and meaningful experiences to kids who will truly be blessed by these experiences. Some of these kids are unable to afford the tuition for the summer so we are starting a scholarship fund to help these kids! In order to do that we are seeking donations for a silent auction that will take place at Eden Village on July 12, 2009 to kick off the season.
If you or your company can offer a donation of a service or goods please let us know by July 6, 2009 so that I can include it in this very important silent auction.

What does the festival cost?
We will be asking for $25-60 tax-deductible donations that will go towards our scholarship fund. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
What will I eat?
Eden Village Camp does not have a permit for using our kitchen yet, so you are invited to bring your own food and drink and we’ll have pizza, grilled cheese, PB+J, snacks and drinks for sale.
How do I get there?
By Car
Here are preferred and pretty camp driving directions:
- From Manhattan's West Side, take 9A North (aka the Henry Hudson Parkway....make sure not to get on the George Washington Bridge)
- 9A will turn into the Saw Mill Parkway North...continue on the Saw Mill Parkway north for about 16 miles.
- Look for the Taconic Parkway North.... You'll be on it for about 27 miles.
- Look for a sign that says you are entering Putnam Valley or a sign for Clarence Fahnestock State park....this means you are getting closer! You'll see a sign for Pudding Street and you'll be even closer.
- There is no exit number, but here is how I can describe the exit that you have to take to get off the Taconic: the exit is for Route 301 West to Cold Spring. (There are actually 2 exits for Route 301: one is right before the
bridge, and one is right after. You want the second one, which appears VERY abruptly right after the bridge. As you go under the bridge, slow down and put your right-turn blinker on.)
- At the end of the exit, make a right onto 301 towards Cold Spring.
- You are driving on 301 for about 3.4 miles and looking to make a left onto Dennytown Rd. If you look for and follow signs for the "Taconic Outdoor Education Center" you'll
find Dennytown Rd. (If you make it to Rt. 9, you have gone too far). You may also see a sign for "Camp Moonbeam" on this corner.
- Drive down Dennytown for 1.6 miles and make a left into our camp at 392 Dennytown Rd. The driveway pops up at the very bottom of a super steep and curvy part of the road.
By Train
The MetroNorth Harlem Line train from GRAND CENTRAL to Cold Spring, NY, only 15 minutes from Eden Village Camp. (We think this is the most up-to-date schedule, but it might be best to check the MTA online schedules to sure sure.)

- $11.25 at station
- $10.69 online
* Eden Village Camp will provide shuttle service from one train coming from New York City, and provide shuttle service to one train going the city. Getting to the festival, you can take the 9:50 AM out of Grand Central which gets to Cold Spring at 11:00 AM. Someone from Camp will be there to pick you up.
For getting back to New York City, we will provide a ride for you to catch the 9:01 PM train leaving Cold Spring which will get to grand central at 10:24 PM. To get a ride for the 9:01 train, please meet at the registration table promptly at 8:20 PM.
