Simone Lindenbaum Ziv

Simone has been part of Eden Village Camp for over 15 years and currently serves as Camp Director. She began her journey as a Tribe Leader and never left. In that time, she has played a central role in stewarding Eden Village’s growth, vision, and culture.

Simone is deeply committed to cultivating a pluralistic, land-based Jewish community where young people can develop resilience, spiritual curiosity, and a strong sense of self. Under her leadership, Eden Village continues to evolve as a space that balances joyful camp magic with meaningful personal growth.

As a mother of three, she brings both heart and perspective to her work, holding the sacred responsibility of caring for other people’s children with intention and integrity.

Simone loves every program at camp and strives to become a master in each thing we offer- from woodworking to soapmaking to creating spiritual connection in her own life. She still hasn’t passed the poi test, though — but she believes camp is about growth, not perfection.
